ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGE
(P.A.) WHANGAREI, April 9. Kini Thompson, who was charged with the attempted murder of Moses Davis, who was acquitted yesterday on a charge of attempting to murder Thompson, today pleaded not guilty and was committed for trial. The police stated that in Thompson’s Home Guard uniform pocket was found a note to the effect that he intended' to commit suicide.
