SWIMMING CARNIVAL AT BATHS

V. Vial Beats Record

The second race night of the new series of events was held last evening at the Tepid Baths. A remarkable performance was put up by V. Vial, who improved on his New Zealand record in the 220 yards handicap. Other features were the great improvement in the times in the 50 yards novice class and the splendid finish in the secondary school boys’ handicap. Tire results are as follows:—
