BOY FATALLY INJURED

(P.A.) AUCKLAND, August 10. Fatal Injuries were suffered by Stanley Kerr, aged 16. a son of Mr J. R. Kerr, of Epsom, when he fell from a platform of the Hamilton-Auckland excursion train at 7.30 last evening at Amokura Junction, near Mercer. He had left a carriage to throw some waste paper from it and did not return. The train was stopped and the guard found the boy near the line. He died soon afterwards from severe head injuries. The body was brought to Auckland by the train, which was delayed for about an hour.
