Cloudy With Rain (Special) WELLINGTON, June 1. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Moderate winds from a southerly quarter. The weather cloudy and cold with occasional drizzle or rain showers, later becoming more general with snow on the ranges. The weather in Invercargill yesterday was fine and clear. The sun shone brightly during the day and the air was again frosty last night with some mist. THE TIDES.—High water, Invercargill, 5.19 a.m., 5.45 p.m.; Bluff, 4.38 a.m., 5.04 p.m.; Riverton. 3.38 a.m., 4.04 p.m.; Oreti Beach, 3.47 a.m., 4.13 p.m. THE SUN—Rises 8.21 a.m.; sets 5.08 p.m. THE MOON—Last quarter,6th 9.2 6a.m.; new, 14th 10.2 a.m.; first quarter, 22nd 8.44 full, 29th 12.9 a.m.
