CERTISSIMUS’S CONDITION STILL SERIOUS
(P.A.) TIMARU, February 26. The condition of the trotter Certissimus, who suffered severe Injuries after a fall at Pleasant Point, had improved today, but was still regarded as serious. A statement attributed to a veterinary surgeon that the horse was not likely to race again is incorrect, as it is impossible to say at this stage what the position is likely to be.
