NEW LIFE-SAVING COMPETITION The second race and polo night was held at the Tepid Baths on Wednesday evening There were exceedingly close finishes and the competition for the Aitchison Cup. with two events to be decided at later dates, promises to be closely contested. A feature of the evening was the new life-saving com. petition in which 12 teams started, seven of which are from the Southland Girls’ High School.
