AGRICULTURAL AND PASTORAL SHOW SLIGHT DECREASE IN ENTRIES A slight decrease, because of war conditions, is shown in the entries for the annual show of the Gore Agricultural and Pastoral Association to be held next week compared with the entries for last year. The totals for the various classes, with the figures for 1940, are
PERSONAL Mr A. S. Powley, postmaster at Gore, began his annual leave yesterday. Dining his absence he will be relieved by Mr P. W. Hunt, supervisor of the telegraph office. MARCHING DISPLAY The counter-marching display by. the Gore Women’s War Service Auxiliary which was deleted from the programme at the fitness rally at Gore last Saturday, will be staged on People’s Day at the Gore show next week, after the grand parade. The first four teams, in the competitive marching competition will also give a display.
