MEXICO’S OIL SETTLEMENT PROPOSAL
(Rec. 8.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, Nov. 21. Mr W. S. Farish, president of the Standard Oil Company, said it was impossible for the company to accept Mexico’s oil settlement proposal because “it purports to validate the original confiscation which violated the international law and thereby jeopardizes foreign investments.”
