PRAISE FOR R.S.A. CLUB

Praise for the fine amenities of the Invercargill R.S.A. was given by Mr Gordon M. Fraser, immediate past president of the Associated Chambers of Commerce, in an interview in New Plymouth after his return from the commerce conference in Invercargill. One thing which impressed Mr Fraser was the Invercargill Returned Services Club, in which fine work was done for returned men, he said. A bowling green was attached and was well patronized. The land was provided by the community through the municipality and more was being given for extensions to meet the increasing demands which would be made as men returned from the present war.
