LAUNCHING OF R.S.A. APPEAL

BUILDING EXTENSION

FUND

A decision to launch immediately the appeal for the . Invercargill Returned Services Association’s building extension fund was made by the association’s publicity and appeal committee at a meeting last evening. Suggestions for the development of the campaign and the encouragement of a widespread public response were discussed and a sub-committee was set up to take pre-

iminary steps. The appeal is being launched to proide additional club-room accommoda-

tion and improved facilities generally. The necessity for enlarging the club rooms has been brought on by the war. They are beginning to prove inadequate now and it is considered that they will be quite inadequate when the membership increases more and more as men return from the war.
