QUEENSTOWN EXCURSION

A large number of bookings has been received for the first of the season’s excursions from Invercargill to Queenstown on Sunday, November 30. The excursion train will leave Invercargill at 7.40 a.m. and will arrive at Queenstown at 12.55 a.m. The steamer will leave on the return journey at 5.15 p.m. and the train will reach Invercargill about 10.14 p.m. Refreshments may be obtained at Lumsden and light refreshments will be available on the steamer. The steamer is equipped with an up-to-date radio gramophone,, which will play items during the journey. Seats may be reserved for both outward and inward journeys for 1/1.
