BOWLS Playing at Winton in a Western District bowling match, Winton R.S.A. defeated Ohai by a margin of four points. Up till Tuesday 2.45 inches of rain had fallen this month. NATIONAL SAVINGS The receipts for National Savings last week were £63 short of the quota, £193, and the money ball which was placed in position on the Winton Post Office flagpole during the week- was 1 raised two-thirds of the way up the j staff.
