VISITS OF INSTRUCTORS Although final arrangements have not yet been made for transport to enable the No. 12 Home Guard area instructors to pay regular visits to the various units in the area, a full programme for the next few days has been drawn up. Following is the itinerary of Captain W. J. Leith and SergeantMajor. G. L. Smart:—Today, Ryal Bush; Sunday, Riverton; Tuesday, Colac Bay; Wednesday, Invercargill; Thursday, Thornbury; Friday, Dipton; Saturday, Limehills and Otapiri; Sunday, November 2, Clifton, Woodend, Tisbury and Waimatua (combined parade). Following is the itinerary of Ser-geant-Major F. Rogers:—Today, Tussock Creek; Tuesday, Kennington; Wednesday, Invercargill; Thursday, Woodlands. Next Saturday SergeantMajor Rogers will leave for Otautau and will remain there till the following Wednesday. He will instruct the Otautau, Scott’s Gap, Fairfax and Aparima units ori successive nights.
