BOARD MEMBERS DECIDE ON PHOTOGRAPH
The Southland Technical College Board at its meeting last night decided that a photograph of members of the board be taken. The decision was not unanimous, however. Mr S. Anderson objected on the ground that the present time did not mark any particular era in the history of the college to justify a photograph. A photograph of the board had not been taken for a great many years, he said, and in the meantime a number of men, no longer on the board, had given notable service. In reply to this it was stated that Mr J. H. Reed would complete 21 years as chairman of the board next July, and that that was a sufficiently noteworthy record to justify a photograph. The motion that the photograph be taken was moved by Mr J. Weir.
