CYCLIST INJURED IN COLLISION

ADMISSION TO HOSPITAL WITH HEAD INJURIES As a result of a collision between a motor-car and a cyclist at 8.10 o’clock last night, James Ferguson, aged 18, of Joseph street, was admitted to the Southland Hospital with head injuries and a fractured bone in the right leg. The collision occurred at the corner of Elies road and St. Andrew street between a motor-car driven by Stanley Russell Rice, of Wyndham, and a bicycle ridden by Ferguson. Both the car and the cyclist were proceeding north. The visibility at the time was poor and heavy rain was falling. Ferguson’s condition at an early hour this' morning was fairly satisfactory.
