Fair Conditions (Special) WELLINGTON, August 26. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington: Moderate and variable winds, but easterly directions predominating; the weather fair; temperatures moderate. A frost of eight degrees was experienced in Invercargill yesterday. The sun shone brightly afterwards and the weather was warm and fine throughout the day.
