REPERTORY SOCIETY’S PRODUCTION

EFFORT FOR PATRIOTIC FUNDS

That the Invercargill Repertory Society knows what to offer as entertainment is indicated by the wise choice of the smart comedy “Tons of Money” for its forthcoming patriotic effort in the Civic Theatre shortly. The unusually good plot is arranged to keep audiences guessing in spite of early clues and its humour is rich and swift. Southland theatregoers are in for a rare treat. The play will be produced by Mr Harold L. Rees. Already Gore and Riverton theatregoers have asked for tickets. A supporting committee under the leadership of Mr A. R. Dunlop, and assisted by the secretary, Miss Ray Courtis, is attending to further country requests for booking at Begg’s. The cast of “Tons of Money” is being rehearsed by Mr Rees and the proceeds will be devoted to the Fighting Forces Fund.
