2 Z 6 CABLEGRAMS 2 Z 6 to ARMED FORCES (NAVY, ARMY and AIR FORCE) On and after 16th June the present concession-rate cablegram service to members of the Armed Forces overseas will be improved by the inauguration of a “standard text” scheme which will enable longer and more informative messages to be sent without any increase on the basic charge of 2/6. A large number of texts covering such subjects as “Correspondence,” “Greetings,” “Health,” “Money,” etc., has been arranged. The charge for each message will be 2/6, and up to three of the special texts may be included in any one message. Cablegrams should be addressed in the same way as letters. There will be no charge for the address. Cards containing the special texts, together with full information, may be obtained on application at any Post Office. (Hits improved service is made possible by the courtesy and collaboration of Cable and Wireless, Ltd.)
