GERMAN RAID ON PLYMOUTH

INCENDIARY AND OIL BOMBS USED

(Rec. 2.5 a.m.) LONDON, April 29. Night raiders in waves heavily attacked Plymouth, dropping first incendiary and oil bombs and then high explosive bombs, also many nares. The ground defences put up an intensive barrage. Three raiders are reported to have been shot down over a south coast town, which also was attacked. Bombers of the Royal Air Force last night heavily attacked Brest, where the German battle-cruisers Scharnhorst and Gniesenau are still sheltering. . CUBAN CRUISER SEIZES YACHT HAVANA, April 29. The Navy announced that the cruiser Cuba had seized the yacht Ezzegoing, which was flying the United States flag, and removed a woman and three men, who were interned pending efforts to determine their nationality, which is reported to be German. It is understood the yacht lacked proper navigation papers and identification documents.
