RAILWAY TRANSFERS ANNOUNCED

The following transfers have been announced by the Railways Department:—

Mr W. N. Butterworth, stationmaster at Heriot, to the position of clerk at Dunedin.

Mr H. G. Meikle, shift clerk at Clinton, to be stationmaster at Heriot. Mr C. T. Gifford, Dunedin, to be shift clerk at Clinton.

Mr W. B. Cook, of the Riverton staff, to be clerk at Lumsden.

Mr T. M. Hanning, of the Lumsden staff, to be clerk at Waimahaka.
