WOMEN’S DIVISION PARTY

PRESENTATIONS TO GUESTS OF HONOUR

On a recent afternoon a big attendance of Kauana Women’s Division members met in the Pukearuhe Hall to honour Mrs G. Bartlett and Miss Isabel Bartlett, who are leaving the district. A happy time was spent with games and competitions. Mrs R. Anderson presented Mrs Bartlett with table cutlery, and Miss M. Baird presented a gift to Miss Bartlett. Mrs Bartlett was also presented with a bouquet by Miss J. Swale. Mesdames Carson, Calder and Johnson also spoke, and wished the guests of honour happiness and prosperity in their new home in the North Island. Mrs Bartlett and her daughter replied.
