EMPIRE, RIVERTON

Paul Robeson will be seen in “Proud Valley” at Riverton tonight. Robeson returns to enrich the screen with his glorious voice in a magnificent story he personally selected. It throbs with genuine humour, emotion and the acting is superb. He is assisted in the picture by a famous Welsh choir, adding rich harmony to the rare quality of the music. It is also a story that combines enthralling drama, excitement and heart interest in unusual fashion. Altogether it is a story worthy of this “Samson of Song.”
