Address To Horticulturists

An address to members of the Southland District Council of the Royal New Zealand Institute of Horticulture was given by Mr G. S. Nicoll, Dominion secretary, at a special meeting last evening. Mr Nicoll outlined the activities of councils in the north and explained the various phases of the work undertaken by the organization in different parts of New Zealand. At the end of Mr Nicoll’s address tire future of the Southland District Council was discussed.
