Riverton-Rocks Road
The improved condition of the Riverton-Rocks road was the subject of favourable comment at a meeting of the Automobile Association (Southland) last night. It was stated that the road had been widened and there was now plenty of room for two cars ’ to pass. D.F.C. Received
The Distinguished Flying Cross won by Pilot Officer J. F. Swift, son of Mr and Mrs G. L. Swift, of McMaster street, Invercargill, has been received by his parents. It is the first decoration of its kind to be seen in Invercargill and is on view in the window of N. J. M. Rein Ltd., jeweller.
