VISIT BY CHIEFS OF SERVICES

I The chiefs of the New Zealand air ; and naval staffs, Air-Commodore H. W. L. Saunders and Commodore W. E. Parry, will arrive in Invercargill by air this morning from Dunedin. They will make an inspection of the new civic •airport, on which their aeroplane’’ will land, and will spend a portion of the day at Bluff. They will lunch at Bluff and meet members of the Bluff Harbour Board and Borough Council. On returning to Invercargill they will be entertained at afternoon tea by the City Council. The chiefs will depart for Christchurch by air late in the afternoon. Major-General Sir Andrew Russell, Inspector-General of the New Zealand Forces, will visit Southland on Thursday.
