GOLF OFF-SEASON CHAMPIONSHIP AT QUEEN’S PARK The first two rounds of the Queen’s Park Golf Club's off-season championship of four rounds were played during the week-end, more than 30 players going out. At the end of the second I round J- S. Lindsay had a lead of two strokes on J. J. White in the senior grade. S. Blomfield led by a similar margin in the intermediate grade and W. F. Swift was four strokes ahead of C. Trim in the junior grade. Following are the best scores: — Senior grade.—J. S. Lindsay 78-77-155; J. J. White 76-81-157; A. des Forges 78-81-159; H. Edginton 81-79-160; A. H. Broad 80-83-163; E. H. Ball 83-81-164. Intermediate grade.—S. Blomfieid 83-85-168; A. R. Cullen 83-87-170; S. Jewiss 83-92-175; D. Richardson 83-92-175: J. A. Hughes were all square in the senior grade and W. F. Swift and A. Harrington were 1 up in the second grade. A stableford handicap in the second round was won by H. Edginton.
