Winter Meeting
At a meeting of the committee of the Southland Racing Club the programme for the winter meeting, to be held on May 3, was reviewed. It was decided that with the exception of alterations in the distances of the two trotting events from one mile and five furlongs to one mile and a-half, it should be the same as for the previous year. It was also decided not to alter the amount of stake money, £1265.
