SHIPMENTS OF EWE MUTTON

(United Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 8. The Meat Producers’ Board has drawn the attention of farmers to the changed position regarding the shipment of wethers and ewes weighing 731 b and over. In compliance with a request from the British Ministry of Food tire shipment of ewe mutton weighing over 731 b is limited to the 1938-39 proportions of these grades to the total mutton carcasses shipped and all freezing companies will be expected to confine the shipments of carcasses weighing 731 b and over to these proportions.
