RADIO STATION LICENCES FINALLY REVOKED

MELBOURNE, February 8. The licences for the four radio stations recently put off the air by the Commonwealth Government have been finally revoked by the PostmasterGeneral. The stations are: 2HD, Newcastle; 4AT, Atherton (Queensland); SKA, Adelaide, and SAU, Port Augusta. Mr McLeary revoked the licences by the powers he holds under the National Security Regulations.
