MEN INVALIDED FROM EGYPT
I Parly Arrives At Wellington (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 7. A party of 87 New Zealand soldiers invalided home, including five officers, has arrived at Wellington mostly from Egypt. Several are wounded or shellshocked, but the majority are suffering from illnesses usually associated with service in tropical countries. There are four nurses also, including Staff Nurse H. L. Faber, of Dunedin South, who is a patient. The others are Sisters K. G. Hall (Auckland), V. M. Hodges (Dunedin) and Staff Sister N. F. Stewart (Wellington). 1 The officers are Lieutenant-Colonel N. F. Boag (Blenheim), Major J. Stack (Christchurch), Captain D. H. Wilson (Auckland), Captain Taylor (Blenheim) and Captain W. J. Foster (Ngaruawahia). The medical officer in charge was Captain T. H. Neil, of Auckland, and from Melbourne the party as a whole was in charge of Captain D. Cosgrove, of Army Headquarters, Wellington. All speak in terms of the highest praise for the hospitality experienced in Australia and Captain Cosgrove said that it was not possible to excel the work of the auxiliary in Sydney.
