BACON AND EGG PIES Shortcrust Chopped Parsley Eggs Salt and Pepper Bacon Method: Line the required number of small patty pans with shortcrust; drop into each one unbeaten egg, sprinkle with salt and pepper, a little chopped parsley and bacon which has previously been shredded and fried. Cover with pastry and brush over with a little beaten egg or milk. Bake in a hot oven for a few minutes, then decrease heat and continue to cook for about half an hour, or until the egg is quite set.
