GIFT EVENING AT MIMIHAU

MISS A. FRAME AS GUEST OF HONOUR

A gift evening was given to Miss Annie Frame in the Mimihau hall last Monday evening in honour of her approaching marriage. There was a large crowd of well-wishers present from surrounding districts. Dooley Brothers supplied the music for the dance and Mr C. Frame was master of ceremonies.

During the supper interval, Mr J. Young, on behalf of all present, asked their guests to accept the array of gifts on view. Supporting remarks were made by Messrs J. C. Ronald, F. Diack, W. W. Heaps, jun., and J. Woods. Mr J. Mitchell replied on behalf of his bride-elect.
