MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING FINAL NIGHT OF SEASON
There was a fair attendance of members at the final shoot of the Te Anau Miniature Rifle Club. Some fairly good scores were recorded. The rifle score button went to J. H. Blatch with 79.6, and the handicap button was won by G. Carroll, with 79.4. Mrs C. Herron won the women’s highest score button with 76.3 and Miss Saunders the handicap button with 79.3.
Following were the scores: W. Beer 70.2- C. Beer 79.3-1-79.3, J. Blatch 79.6-scr-79.6, G. Carroll 76.4-3-79.4, C. Herron 76.1-3-79.1, J. Isaacs 72.2- A. McGregor 69.3-3-72.3, I. Macauley 75.3, T. Plato 76.4-10-79.4, W. Taylor 78.4-3-79.4, Mrs Carroll 65-5-70, Mrs C. Herron 76.3-6-79.3, Miss Saunders 74.3-11-79.3, Miss O’Callaghan 70.2- Miss Lloyd 65, Miss C. Douglas 61, Miss M. Douglas and Miss White 51.
Back shoots: Mrs Herron 75.2, J. Blatch 79.6, T. Plato 62.2, W. Taylor 78.3, H. McLauchlan 65.1.
