RIVERTON TEAMS TO PLAY IN TOWN
BASKETBALL AND RUGBY MATCHES
Riverton football and basketball teams are to play matches in Invercargill today. The following team has been selected to represent the Riverton Boys’ Brigade in a game against the 2nd Company of the Invercargill Boys’ Brigade at Biggar street at 2 p.m. today: — Full-back, G. McDougall; three-quar-ters, L. Dixon, D. Walker, J. Newton; five-eighths, A. Alexander, D. McDougall; half-back, C. Anderson, forwards, L. Witsey, A. Cloughley, F. Ward, B. Patrick, D. Frew, N. Walden, G. Robertson, W. Rose. The following will represent the Riverton Girl Guides in a basketball game against the First Church team today: —E. Cloughley, I. Wilkes, D. Dickson, J. Clarke, I. Inder, G. Johnston, N. Bailey, L. Smyth, N. Bailey.
