TUATAPERE

RIFLE CLUB SHOOT Because of the small membership at present, the Waiau Club is now holding only one shoot a fortnight when two targets are shot. At this week’s shoot the standard was very high, no fewer than five 80’s being obtained. In the No. 1 shoot W. Henderson, with a possible of 80.8, won both the rifle and the handicap buttons. In the No. 2 shoot, J. A. Forde won both the rifle and the handicap buttons. Results:—

No. 1 Shoot.—W. Henderson 80.8-1-80.8, E. Gorton 80.7-1-80.8, A. D. McClymont 80.6-1-80.8, J. A. Forde 79.7-1-80.7, J. Denniston 77.5-1-78.5. No. 2 Shoot.—J. A. Forde 80.6-1-80.8, A. D. McClymont 79.4-1-80.4, J. Denniston 78.2-1-79.2, W. Henderson 77.5-scr-77.5, E. Gorton 76.2-1-77.2. Back Shoot.—W. Henderson 80.5.
