OREPUKI

ANGLICAN GUILD At a meeting of the St. Faith’s Anglican Guild it was decided that an industrial show be held in conjunction with the annual bazaar. The show will be divided into six sections and will include knitting, crochet, fancy work, art, baking and a school section. PATRIOTIC WORK A general meeting of tile Orepuki branch of the Southland Provincial Patriotic Council was held in the Returned Soldiers’ Association club rooms. There was a fair attendance of the public. Mr E. D. Bone reviewed the operations of the committee. It was decided to form a committee for Red Cross work and that nominations be called. The following were nominated: Women, Mesdames Fraser Dunnage and Garden and Misses McLean and O'Donnell; men, Messrs Cook, Dunnage and Shepherd. Mr J. Cook was appointed president and Mr R. H, Dunnage secretary.
