MEAT PRODUCERS BOARD

ELECTION OF DELEGATES The returning officer announces that he has received the following nominations for the two vacancies for producers’ representatives on the New Zealand Meat Producers Board:—James Begg (sitting member), Dunedin; I. L. M. Coop, Ataahua, Canterbury; T. A. Duncan (sitting member), Hunterville. The election will take place on August 30, when the delegates who will be elected to represent the various districts throughout the Dominion and who will constitute the Electoral Committee, will assemble in Wellington to consider the eighteenth annual report and statement of accounts of the board and to elect the two producers’ representatives on the board. Nominations for delegates to the Electoral Committee close at the board’s office at noon on July 5, and a postal ballot will then be conducted among the sheepfarmers in the districts where the nominations are in excess of the number of delegates required.
