AID BY FOREIGN NATIONALS

DONATIONS TO PATRIOTIC FUND (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 22. Twice within the last fortnight the Wellington Yugoslav Club members have made a substantial donation to the National Patriotic Fund. They recently gave £2O and now individual donations, ranging from ten shillings to £5 and amounting to £23/15/- have been received from them. In a letter the president of the club said that they would do all they could to help and as now was the time for such action he had taken up a collection among the 18 members.

The board is also receiving donations from other foreign races. Greeks throughout the Dominion are making a big effort next Friday when those in business are giving the day’s takings and employees their day’s pay. M. Garland, the Greek consul, expects £2OOO to be raised.
