MUNITIONS PRODUCTION IN AUSTRALIA
(Received June 16, 7.30 p.m.) MELBOURNE, June 16. The Director-General of Information, Sir Keith Murdoch, announced that Australia is to begin the immediate production of £50,000,000 worth of munitions. One hundred and fifty thousand men and women would be engaged in the scheme.
