NEW BUILDING TO BE ERECTED

STATE CONTRACT LET FOR £lOO,OOO (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 16. A tender by the Fletcher Construction Company Limited for the construction of a four-story building for the Marketing Department at a price of approximately £lOO,OOO has been accepted by the Government. Several months ago the company prepared the foundations for the building under a separate contract involving about £14,000. A start will be made next week on the building.
