CHRISTIANITY IN ENGLAND
LONDON, April 29.
The Bishop of London (the Rt. Rev Geoffrey Fisher), preaching at the festival service of the Church Missionary Society, declared that England was no more converted to Christianity than Uganda.' Europe was as much involved in the conflict between Christ and the devil as Asia. Christendom had disappeared as a geographical term and would only reappear when Christian people throughout the world stand together in one faith.
