MAJOR BLAIR RETURNS TO DOMINION

WELLINGTON, February 20.

Major R. Hunter Blair (Christchurch) is back from a nine months’ visit to England accompanied by Mrs Blair. They said they travelled most of the way in an Italian liner and have no adventures to relate. The Italian ships are lit up at night and free of inconvenience caused by blacking out. Major Blair and Mrs Blair came to New Zealand on the major’s retirement five years ago, but have been backwards and forwards several times since.

Major Blair is impressed with the confidence of the people in England as to the outcome of the struggle.
