INCREASED GATE TAKINGS
An increase of £472 was shown in the total receipts for the Centennial Royal Show compared with the 1934. Royal Show at Invercargill. The takings for the final day yesterday were £554/7/- compared with £319 in 1934. The total takings for -the Centennial Show were £2374/19/-, which were considered by the officials of the organizations controlling the show to be highly satisfactory. The details were as follows:—
