ORDERED TO PAY FOR DAMAGE DONE 1 (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, December 4.. Arrested at the instigation of his father, Derrick Gould, aged 20 years, a labourer, pleaded guilty to wilfully damaging a window valued at 15/-. The police received a telephone call at 11 p.m. on Saturday and on going out to a house found the a.ccused in bed. He said his father had locked the doors on him and he lost his head and broke a window. The police said the trouble arose from an argument over board. He was told he could not come in until he paid some money. The accused was convicted and ordered to pay for the damage.
