BANANA PIE Line a pie plate with pastry and bake in the usual way. Mash three bananas and whip them with an eggbeater. Ada. one cup sugar, one tablespoon lemon juice, pinch of salt, and two stifflybeaten whites of eggs. Mix. well, pour into pastry shell, and bake in moderate oven 15 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped nuts or coco-nut and serve immediately.
