A reminder is given by the Minister of Customs (the Hon. W. Nash) that applications for import licences for the period January to June 1940, should be lodged by November 30, It was possible that some importers who intended lodging applications might have overlooked the necessity for doing so by the date mentioned, and the opportunity was accordingly being taken to remind them.—Press Association.
