APPRAISEMENT DATES ANNOUNCED
WOOL IN STORE AT DUNEDIN (Special to The Times) DUNEDIN, November 29. The first Dimedin appraisement of wool for the season will be held on December 18 or 19. As the process is a long one occupying some days, it is probable that the appraisers will be engaged on both days. The dates for the second round of appraisements throughout the Dominion have not yet been fixed. To date no information has been received by Dunedin brokers about the quantity of wool that will be accepted for the first appraisement, but the opinion was expressed today that all the wool that arrives in store in time to be handled before December 18 will go forward for appraisement. The wool is later coming into store this season and the quantities are not as heavy as usual. Moreover the break in the weather lately has caused a delay in shearing. It is apparent from the wool already in store that the Otago clip will be very light in condition and that the total quantity sold will be smaller than usual. Much of the wool shows signs of severe weathering, but the bulk of the clip exhibits a better quality than was generally expected.
