STATE’S PAYMENTS TO HOSPITALS ■ I- i ■ Particulars of a scheme for .the treatment of sick or wounded army men are contained in a circular received by the Southland Hospital Board from the Health Department, Men requiring mere, than one or two days' hospital treatment will be sent to public hospitals, whieh will be paid 6/a day from the Sopial Security Fund and 5/- a day from the War Expenses Account. This payment will be in full settlement of all claims,
