MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING COMPETITION SHOOT OF GORE CLUB

The fifth competition shoot of the Gore Miniature Rifle Club was held m the Theatre Royal when 47 members took part. Although no possibles were scored, several good totals were recorded. For the senior button three competitors tied—G. Wilson, P. Mallon and V. Hornby. This was for shooting off the rifle, G. Wilson winning with 78.5 on the count of the inner bulls, V. Hornby being second with 78.4 and P. Mallon third with 78.3. The handicap button was won by W. Shore from D. Burn, one point separating the marksmen.
