SUCCESSFUL FIXTURE AT WOODLANDS

GOOD ENTRIES IN ALL SECTIONS A successful spring flower show was held at Woodlands in conjunction with the Presbyterian Busy Bees annual sale of work in the Woodlands Public Hall. Three blooms narcissi: Mrs A. O. Fleming 1 and 2, Mrs H. Waddell 3. Three blooms narcissi: Mrs T. McKinnel 1, Mrs J. C. Edie 2. Three trumpet narcissi: Mrs Fleming 1, Mrs McKinnel 2. Three medium or short cup: Mrs Fleming 1, Mrs T. McKinnel 2. One bloom trumpet narcissi: Mrs Fleming 1, Miss F. Henderson 2. One medium or snort cup narcissi: Mrs Fleming 1 and 2. Competitions held during the afternoon and evening were won by the following:—Men’s distance _ stepping, L. Middlemiss; length of string, Mr Allott; women’s distance stepping, Miss McKerchar; box coco-nut ice, H. Middlemiss; weight of cake, Miss D. Dewe; women’s candle lighting, Mrs C. J.
